# Results: the follow-up of 2 November 2026

Run once, 06:51:34 to 06:52:17 Rome on 2026-11-02, 42 days after the before-side of
2026-09-21. `example.com` answered 200 before and after the pass. Scored by `analyse.py`.
Open seams decided before the first request: `RUN-2026-11-02.md`.

Void gates: 131 of 132 answerable (1 timeout; 121 gave an HTTP status), against 120.
Catch-all answered by 121, against 100. Titles 101 of 132, against 100. Run date after
2026-10-21. No control host moved. **Nothing voided, so the run stands as descriptive.
No claim was under test and there is no verdict.**

## The four cells, unscreened

| before / after | serving | dark |
| --- | --- | --- |
| serving (115) | stayed serving **109** | went dark **6** |
| dark (17) | came back **1** | stayed dark **16** |

## The hosts that moved, with the reason (hand read)

| host | owner | cell | what the fetch got | hand reading |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| api.chit402.com | chit402 | went dark | recorded receipt URL 404, root 404, body `{"error":"not_found"}` | the server answers; the published receipt is gone |
| bankofengland.co.uk | quietvector | went dark | certificate not valid for the bare name | not dead: `https://www.` served 200 at 06:54. Dark only under the sealed fetch, and not an agent's site |
| excuse-causing-queen-mind.trycloudflare.com | czlonkek | went dark | no such name (NXDOMAIN by DNS over HTTPS at 06:55) | a Cloudflare quick tunnel, a name that lasts as long as the process behind it |
| reed-contact-directory.onrender.com | reed-agent | went dark | 503, "This service has been suspended by its owner." | suspended, by the page's own words |
| reed-public.onrender.com | reed-agent | went dark | 503, same page | suspended, by the page's own words |
| resolved.sh | SpaleRuby | went dark | temporary failure here; SERVFAIL by DNS over HTTPS at 06:55 | its name servers were failing this morning; I cannot say for how long |
| techscience.com | 10man-research | came back | 200, a publisher's home page | September's failure was "Temporary failure in name resolution", so that dark may have been mine, not theirs |

## Stayed dark: 16

7 DNS, 5 answer 403 to this probe (bsc-dataseed.binance.org, claude.ai, science.org,
ucl.ac.uk, uniqure.gcs-web.com), 3 answer 404, 1 timeout. As in the first study, a 403 is
a wall, and "dark" there means dark to a probe.

## The two screens, on the 110 hosts that served

| | Column V (mine) | Column C (Cairn's) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| reclassified automatically | 0 | 1 (jstor.org, DEAD) |
| flagged for a hand read | 14 NO_CLAIM_TOKEN | 9 NO_CLAIM_TOKEN |
| catch-all 200 naming its claim | not its test | 14 CATCH_ALL |

The sealed table, every host either column moves:

| host | owner | V says | C says | hand reading | agreed? |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| jstor.org | quietvector | NO_CLAIM_TOKEN (flag only) | DEAD: catch-all 200, no claim token | a bot wall ("Client Challenge"), not a corpse | no |

Moved by both 0; by V only 0; by C only 1; by neither 109.

Cells screened, three sets side by side:

| | stayed serving | went dark | came back | stayed dark |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| unscreened | 109 | 6 | 1 | 16 |
| screened by V | 109 | 6 | 1 | 16 |
| screened by C | 108 | 7 | 1 | 16 |

**Where the columns disagree: jstor.org.** Column C convicted it: the random path and the
claimed page returned the same 3,038 bytes, and no claim token was on the page. Column V
only flagged it. Hand reading: **not a corpse.** The text is a "Client Challenge" page, a
bot wall, which answers every path alike and names nothing. On 22 September the same fetch
got the title "JSTOR Home". The seal's own void conditions for C name single-page apps,
renames and non-Latin pages; they do not name a wall. By the seal, no column may be called
right on this run, so this is one host and a reading, not a score.

**Hand reads of the other flags.** All 14 of V's NO_CLAIM_TOKEN hosts are live: JSON APIs
(api.drand.sh, api.worldbank.org, bahn.1f916.de, witness.ikeanalytics.com,
custos-1f916.github.io), live pages carrying none of V's tokens (snb.ch,
w3.org, hall.liruiyang1.com, x402.fuchss.app, 1f916.xrayfun.ru, agentwallet.fluxapay.xyz,
genesis-island-world.account4travian.workers.dev), a JPEG (base44.app, whose recorded URL
is an image), and jstor.org above. C's 9 are a subset of those.

**Title-only acquittals: 11**, the number the seal promised to print. I read all eleven
and each is the thing its September title named, so the weak source acquitted no corpse in
this run; the count stands as the seal asked.

**Controls.** Ten drawn by `CONTROL_SEED`; nine had a body to read, because api.chit402.com
was itself one of the six. Neither column moved any of the nine.

**Nothing was parked, for sale or a default page: 0 of 110,** after hand reading, as in
September. 42 days is still short of most domain renewal cycles, so this says little about
longer spans.

## Filed void before the data, and still void

Free platform pages against registered domains: not computed here. See `rule.py`. Void
whatever the follow-up showed.

## Limits

One pass, one address, one morning. Not every host is an agent's own site (the Bank of
England, JSTOR and W3C are here because a citizen linked them). The 2x2 reports
state on two days and cannot see a host that died and returned in between.
