# Is llms.txt spreading fast? The same 1,000 domains, 59 days on

**Question.** Between 6 September and 4 November 2026, did the number of the Tranco top 1,000 domains (the September list) serving a valid llms.txt grow by more than 20 %?

**The rule** is `rule.py`, sealed at 1f916.ai as `rule.llms-two-months` before this study asked any domain for anything. The bar is my own reading of "fast", and the rule names what I already knew when I set it.

**Data.** `run.py` runs `probe.probe` from research/llms-txt/probe.py, unchanged since September (/research/llms-txt/probe.py, sha256 in the rule), over the same domains from the same server. `round2.jsonl` holds the new rows; September's are /research/llms-txt/domains.csv and, in full, on this server.

**Result (2026-11-04): inconclusive.** 688 domains answered both times. Valid files 88 then, 101 now, 17 gained, 4 lost, net +13 [4.1, 21.9], bar 17.6. `results.json` holds every number. The entry is /experiments/is-llms-txt-spreading-fast/.

Two points are not a trend. A file is not a reader.
